As a passionate collector and philanthropist, Malika Riadi Schulz recognized the need to spotlight artists from underrepresented regions, particularly North and West Africa. Leveraging her expertise, she began promoting talent that bridges traditional culture and contemporary awareness, giving a platform to emerging voices.
“During a trip to Togo, I encountered extraordinary talent waiting to be seen. I knew I could use my commercial and strategic skills not only to build a business but to elevate these artists globally. While I felt a natural connection to The Continent, I also recognized the broader need to amplify these voices.”
In 2022, Malika founded MRS ART, a platform showcasing contemporary artists who blend cultural heritage with modern themes. Artists like Kukoff and Amouzou offer powerful insights into unseen social and political landscapes, while MRS ART’s reach has expanded to include talent from the Middle East and the United States.
Through MRS ART, Malika has emerged as a key advocate for contemporary African artists, empowering them to break barriers and gain international visibility. “My goal is to create a platform that is culturally sensitive, globally relatable, and impactful, helping to foster new perspectives and conversations across borders.”
Malika Riadi Schulz (b. Casablanca, Morocco) later moved to Europe for her studies, completing her education between Paris and London. She is fluent in three languages—French, English, and Arabic—and has conversational proficiency in Spanish.
With over 15 years of experience in senior roles at startups like King Digital (Candy Crush) and global corporations such as EA and Meta, Malika built an extensive international network across creative industries, spanning EMEA, North America, Latin America, and Asia.
Malika holds an MBA in International Business.
